He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Alfred L. Malabre; and his former wife Mary Patricia "Pat" Wardropper. He is survived by: his wife Susan Zurn Malabre; his children, Richard (Janet Baker), Ann and John; his grandsons, Sam and Ian; and his children, Isaac, Emmarose, Ansel, Claire, Drew and Blaise.
