He is survived by : his wife Sally; his children, James Earl "Jim" Heath (Stephanie), Harvin Heath Greene (Tommy) and Lucy Heath Lee (Todd); his sisters, Harriette and Wimberly; his stepchildren, Will Betchman (Kim), Sara Betchman and Summer Betchman O'Neill (Pat); his grandchildren, Taylor Heath (Jenna), Mary Copeland Heath, Heathie Greene, Lula Greene, Reynolds Lee, Laura Harvin Lee, Hamilton Betchman, Emma Wynn Brown (Michael), John O'Neil, William O'Neill and McLaurin O'Neill; and his great grandchild Leni Brown.

A graveside service was held on Sunday, May 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sumter Cemetery (700 W Oakland Ave, Sumter, SC 29151).
