She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jackson Kirby and Betty Norton Kirby; and her sister Claire Kirby Hughes. She is survived by: her husband George Douglas Surrett of Seabook Island, S. C.; her children, Elizabeth Bailey Surrett of Charlotte, NC and Douglas Jackson Surrett of Seabrook Island, S. C.; and her close friend Ben.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Church (98 Wentworth St, Charleston, SC 29401).
