She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Rodell Parnelle and Doris Willard Parnelle; and her godson Kevin Buckheister. She is survived by: her significant other Russell "Rusty" John Patterson; her children, Russell "Russ" John Patterson, Jr. and Carolyn Elizabeth "Elissa" Patterson Barfield; her brother Robert R. Parnelle III (Nancy); her grandchildren, Russell John Patterson III, Ellison Carlisle Patterson, Taylor Anne Barfield and Tucker Jervey Barfield; and her goddaughter Robin Patterson Kienzle. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and many more extended family members and friends.
