She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin DeVeaux, Jr.; her parents, Thaddeus Davis, Sr. and Lillie Mae Davis; her siblings, Lee Davis and Franklin Davis; her parents-in-law, Alvin Johnson DeVeaux and Esther Walker DeVeaux; and her sisters-in-law, Anna Ruth Davis, Linda Baldwin, Mary DeVeaux and Margaret "Margie" Davis.
