We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2025, Betty Inez (Prine) Bessinger of Charleston, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Melvin E. Bessinger; her parents, Leita Emma Inez Prine and Johnny David Prine of North Charleston, SC.; her children, Melvin David Bessinger (Debbie) of Isle and Stephanie Jean Bessinger Williams (Terry) of Gainesville, Georgia; her grandchildren, Graham, Nathan (Judith), Reagan (Catherine), Leita, Hannah Williams, Brice Bessinger, Caroline, Edward, Charlotte and Margaret O'Neil; her great grandchildren, Ruthie Bessinger Williams and Emma Rosalie Williams; and her nephew Steven Chandler.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc. (1494 Mathis Ferry Rd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464).
Memorial Donations may be made in Betty Bessinger's name to the charity organization Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, North Carolina 28607.
