He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Seabrook and Archie Bernard Koester, Sr.; his wife Betty Barfield Koester; and his daughter Faye DuPont. He is survived by: his pet Sheldon; and his children, William 'Billy Koester, Jr. and Beth Lockliear.
