It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bruce Ervin Skidmore of Charleston, South Carolina, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Ryne Skidmore and Maude Hunter Skidmore; his son Alex Skidmore; and his brothers, Charles Skidmore, Bill Skidmore and Steve Skidmore.

He is survived by : his wife Kay; his son Robert Skidmore (Ingrid); his brothers, John Skidmore (Mary) of Charlotte, NC and Dale Skidmore (Beverly) of Charlotte, NC; and his sisters-in-law, Becky Skidmore and Nancy Skidmore. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
