He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Mendelsohn and Dorothy Bluestein Mendelsohn. He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, Beth Mendelsohn Ross (Michael) of Philadelphia, PA, Lynn Mendelsohn Dryzer (Scott) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Faye Mendelsohn Lebish (Craig) of Atlanta, GA and David Bruce Mendelsohn (Jennifer) of Charleston, SC; his brother Joseph S. Mendelsohn (Rhetta) of Charleston, SC; his grandchildren, Rabbi Daniel Ross, Hillary Gonzalez, Adrienne Ross, Danielle Dryzer, Michael Dryzer, Lauren Dryzer, Andrew Lebish and Sarah Lebish; and his great grandchildren, Ari, Caleb and Adina.
