She is survived by : her parents, Gary O'Connor and Carol Taggart O'Connor; her husband Michael Rice of Summerville, SC; her son Patrick Rice; and her brother Gary O'Connor. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Dedicated donations to Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) or the International Primate Protection League (IPPL) are appreciated.
