With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Aimar Jaques Jr. of Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on March 21, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Aimar Jaques, Sr. and Virginia Reeves Jaques; his son Charles A. Jaques, III; and his siblings, John Henry Veronee, Virginia Cadelle, Doris Solt, Helen Waltz and Shirley Royster.

He is survived by : his wife Carole Lane Jaques; his daughter Laura Jaques (Anoop Varghese) of Akron, OH; his sister Jeanne Amory of Newport News, VA; and his grandchildren, Victoria Lane Beaudoin (Kenneth) and Charles A. Jaques IV. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
