He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Staples Watson and Jack; and his brother Julian "Jupe" Watson. He is survived by: his significant other Debra "Debbie" Hatem; his children, Amy Waller (Barry), Rob Daniel (Erick Galicia) and Jared Daniel (Katie Bray); his grandchildren, Cayton Kellar (Josh), Cameron Broughton and Taylor Broughton (Chris Jenkins); his great grandchildren, Liam, Tatum, R'Jayna, Remington, Mason, Parker, Charlotte, Aysa and Grady; his granddaughter Lucy; his brother James "Jim" Watson (Joan); his sister-in-law Nell Watson; and his cousin Ronnie Wood. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Disabled American Veterans (DAV) or Boys Town.
