She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy L. Robinson; her nephew Gerald Dilligard; her brother William Robinson; and her aunts and uncles, Teresa Robinson Moore, Florella Odom, Blanche McCloud, Thelma Marshall, James Wright, Jerry Simmons, Samuel Simmons, Herbert Simmons and Jonathan Rouse Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Gail E. Taylor (Eugene), Tracy A. Holmes-Bell and Harry Holmes III (Alexis); her niece Gabrielle Dilligard; her grandchildren, Antonio T. Holmes, Jahmal D. Holmes, Dantrell L. Bell, Harrison M. Holmes, Harry Holmes IV and Hendrix A. Holmes; her father Samuel H. Rouse; her siblings, Jerald Simmons, Burt W. Simmons, Lisa Butler, Janice Rouse and Bernadette Crockett; her aunt Helen Frasier; and her uncle Julius Wright. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
