He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennie Almond (Sheets) and Levi Almond; his wife Kitty Sue Almond (Fox); and his siblings, John (Mary), Levi "Al" (ArnaMae), Dicky (Jeraldine), Fred (Drema), Jack (Carol Ann), Gerry (Vera), Ted (Betty), Mickey (Loretha), Kathryn (James), Margaret (Paul), Mary Elizabeth and Peggy (Leon).
He is survived by: his children, Mark Almond (Alice), Scott Almond, Kyle Almond, Brittany Almond and Sydnee Almond; his grandchildren, Sarah Almond Bramlett (Tom), James Almond, Caleb Almond and Cooper Hines; and his sisters, Rose Jennie (Harry) and Carol Almond Bailey (Dicky). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
