He is survived by: his wife Marti; his siblings, Douglas Peterson, Dale Peterson (Wyn Kelley), David Peterson and Deborah Peterson (Milan Matus); his children, Anna Shearer, Seth Peterson (Peg Helner Peterson) and Leslie Wessel (Andrew); his stepdaughter Rachel White; and his grandchildren, Emma Shearer, Madeleine Shearer, Thomas Shearer, Laurel Peterson, Raymond Peterson, Emmett Peterson, Nora Wessel, Jonas Wessel, Manny Wessel, Hank Wessel and Paul Wessel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
