She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Roland F. Crane, Jr.; her son Paul Crane; and her siblings, Decker Elder and Michael Kuykendall. She is survived by: her sister Mary Kuykendall Weber of New York; her daughter Elizabeth; her daughter-in-law Lynn of Maryland; and her nieces, Marsha Kuykendall Tomlin, Shelia Kuykendall and Kathy Kuykendall Pringle.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Edith's name to the National Organization for Women.
