It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Gourdine Scott (Charleston, South Carolina), who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Earline Brown Gourdine and Julius Gourdine; and her siblings, Horace Gourdine, Julius Gourdine Jr. and Vermell Gourdine Stanley.
She is survived by : her sisters, Betty Gourdine and Ruthie Mae Gourdine Gailliard; her children, Kevin M. Scott (Clarissa) of Stockbridge and Georgia; her grandchildren, Monique L. Scott, Michael L. Scott, Keil M. Scott II, Kayla A. Scott and Keira J. Scott; her siblings, Alfred Gourdine, Louis Gourdine (Izetta), Loretta Walker (George), Carolyn Adams (Larry) and Clara Arthur; her brother-in-law Charlie Scott (Brenda) of Ravenel, SC; and her aunts, Carrie Ellis and Ethel Gourdine. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, a host of cousins, other relatives and loving friends.
