She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Patterson and Bertha Patterson; her husband Marion "Sam" Grayson; and her siblings, David Patterson, Hogan Patterson, Ike Patterson Jr., Bobby Patterson, Charles Patterson and Marilyn Anderson.

She is survived by: her children, Christy Brazell (Greg), Steve Grayson, Stuart Grayson (Dell) and David Grayson (Laura); her brother George Patterson (Donna); her grandchildren, Kacie Silver Osolin (Jason), Monique Grayson, Josh Grayson, Alex Grayson (Bailey), Sam Grayson (Nicole), Ashley Wilkes (Austin), Madisyn Morris (Caleb), Matt Brazell (Caleigh) and Greg Brazell Jr.; and her sisters-in-law, Judy Crump and Mary Jane Patterson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Nature Conservancy of South Carolina in Pat's memory.
