He is survived by: his parents, Thomas Massar and Mary Massar; his sister Andrea Kostinas (Matthew); his nephews, Ryan and Benjamin; his siblings, Stephen Massar and Sarah Massar; his grandmother Mary Massar; and his significant other Adam Whisenant. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home (1620 Savannah Hwy, Charleston, SC 29407). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (120 Broad St, Charleston, SC 29401). A reception will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at 1234 Camp Rd, Charleston, SC 29412.
