She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie M. Copeland and Lucille Peebles Copeland; her husband Bently H. Viars; and her siblings, Herman Copeland, Arthur Wayne Copeland and Barbara Copeland Green.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Barrett Woodward (Ralph); her grandchildren, Lonnie Daniel and Courtnay Barrett; her great grandchildren, Kimberlynne Smith and Isabella; and her siblings, Margaret Fletcher of Sumter, SC, Bernice Slider of Maryland and Kenneth Copeland (Bobbie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
