It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ervene Lewis Hiers (Charleston, South Carolina), who passed away on May 16, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin M. Lewis and Ramona Livey Lewis; her husband Jack Hiers; and her son Jon. She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda Accardo (Rocky) of Charleston and Jennifer Crosby (Peter) of The Villages, FL; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Hiers, Allyson Armstrong (Adam), Katherine Accardo, Tripp Accardo and Jeremy Crosby. She is also survived by five nieces and three nephews.
