He was predeceased by: his parents, Margarite Helander Bishop and Jerry Bishop; his wife Charlotte Clark Bishop; his daughter Katherine Chrise; and his brother Jerome Bishop.
He is survived by: his children, Duane Bishop (Beth), Sherea Franks (Len), Greg Sealey, Tricia Altine (Buster) and Gene Bishop Jr.; and his cousin Sigrid. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
