He is survived by: his wife Violet; his sons, James Grigg (Keenan) and Jody Grigg (Anita); his granddaughter Maddie; his sibling's children, Elizabeth Whisnant, Scott Whisnant and John Whisnant (Susan); his great-niece Amanda Jernigan; his great-nephews, Andrew Rogers, Adam Whisnant, Will Whisnant and Noah Whisnant; and his pets, Henry and Fred.
