She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Dempsey; and her brother Lavern Taylor. She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Leppert (Bert) and Donna Wheate (Steve); her grandson Thowel Leppert, III (Graci); her great grandchild Elli Grace Leppert; and her brother Furman Taylor (Ruth Anne). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
