He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Ellison and Sarah Bielsky Ellison; and his siblings, Ruth Toby Ellison Seid of Dallas, TX and Morton Ellison of Charleston, SC. He is survived by: his friend Henry Picard; his wife Barbara (Jaffe); his children, Morris Ellison (Deborah) of Charleston, SC, David Ellison (Julie) of Charleston, SC, Frances Ellison of Atlanta, GA, Alec Ellison (Pam) of Greenwich, CT and Wendy Ellison Armon (Bruce) of Abington, PA.; his grandchildren, Matthew (Natalie), Sarah, Hannah, Benjamin (Eden), Danielle, Becca, Jonathan, Will, Judah, Ross, Spencer, Tess, Eva and Lila; and his great grandchildren, Theo and Lynn.
