It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen O'Leary McDonald of Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Leary and Pauline Leary (Scanlon); her former husband William "Bill" O'Leary; her husband William Paul McDonald; her sister Mary Leary Murphy; her daughter Nancy McDonald; and her siblings-in-law, MaryBeth McDonald Boulin and Peter Murphy.
She is survived by: her sons, John Emmett O'Leary (Lauren Parker) of Charleston, SC and Tom McDonald (Vicki) of Franklin, VT; and her grandchildren, Wade McDonald (Jami), Erin Lothian (Dylan), Marleigh Bronner (Jordon) and Kinnon McDonald (Karishma). She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
