He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Smalls. He is survived by: his aunts, Jaunita Robison, Mary Little, Christina Bennett, Shirley Evans, Alberna Bennett and Anniemae Bennett; and his children, Dorothy Cummings (Julius), Jacquelyn Gordon (Anthony), Samuel Smalls (Wanda), Pamela Smith (Ron), Deborah Twitty (Michael), Audrey Smalls, Melvena Bannister (Harry), Henry Smalls, Cheryl Tolbert (Jeffrey), Jerome Smalls (Danielle) and Karen Howard (Clay). He is also survived by great grandchildren cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
