He is survived by: his wife Linda G. Jackson; his children, Roberta Jackson and Herbert Jackson, III (Raven); his grandchildren, Andjoua Jackson, Jaylyn L. Jackson, Cynthia T. Jackson and Herbert Jackson, IV; his sister Mary Pearl Singleton (Authur); his mother-in-law Ethel Hearn; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Hearn, Yvonne Heyward, Sonya Hearn, Sgt. Kenneth L. Smalls, Sgt. Eric E. Hearn (Nicole) and Bobby L. Hearn (Tonya). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith-McNeal Funeral Home (2119 Dorchester Rd, North Charleston, SC 29405). A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wesley United Methodist Church (446 Meeting St, Charleston, SC 29403).
