He was predeceased by: his parents, Hezekiah Mitchell and Margaret Manigault. He is survived by: his close friend Gwendolyn Moore of Charleston, SC; and his siblings, Clarence Mitchell (Paulisa) of Charleston, SC, Vernon Mitchell of Charleston, SC, Cynthia Mack of Charleston, SC and Elizabeth Speed of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grand nephews, other relatives and friends.
