She is survived by: her daughters, Ruthie Hamrick Herrin of Charleston, Anne Hamrick Davis (Wade) of Charleston and Mary Hamrick Hoover (Sean Lawless) of Charleston; her grandchildren, Sherry Tahquette (Brandon), Megan Snyder (Hudson), Erin Granberry (Clifton), Meredith Hoover (Chappell Maddox), Parrish Hoover, Bridgett Hoover (Connor McCraw) and Lauren Lawless; her great grandchildren, Cheyenne of Charleston, Leah of Charleston, Josiah of Charleston, Trevor of Charleston, Juan of Charleston and Tahquette of Charleston; her brother Bruce Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Smith and William King.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home (1620 Savannah Hwy, Charleston, SC 29407). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM and from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Matthew's Lutheran Church (405 King St, Charleston, SC 29403). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (604 Fort Johnson Rd, Charleston, SC 29412).
