He was predeceased by: his parents, Lindsey Inman and Hazel Inman; his son-in-law John Boolen; and his siblings, Bobby Inman, Marie King and Patricia Armour.

He is survived by: his wife Bobbie V. Inman; his children, Hubert W. Inman Jr. (Dianna) of Tampa, FL, Melinda Wagoner (Ralph) of Hanahan, SC and Cynthia Boolen of Charleston, SC.; his grandchildren, Christopher Inman (Rachel) of Tampa, FL, Jennifer Boolen of Charleston, SC, Matthew Inman (Emma) of Christchurch and Caroline Inman of Charleston, SC; his great grandchild Ezra Inman of Tampa, FL.; his sisters, Josephine Carson (Larry) and Earlene Meadows (Ted); and his siblings-in-law, Linda Inman and Robert Armour. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
