He was predeceased by: his mother Geneva "Gene" Mitchell; his stepfather John W. Mitchell; his grandparents, Lucille and Clyde Enloe; and his father Fred Deese.
He is survived by: his cousins, Margie "Janet" Head, Kimberly Soloman of Goose Creek, Pam Wheeler, Virginia and Kathie Smith of Dallas, Texas.; and his friends, Randy Johnson, Maria McCurry, Donald Charpia, John Schaller and Steve Biggerstaff.
