It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Edna Haddad of Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on December 19, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dueker and Sophie Dueker of Carbondale, IL.. She is survived by: her children, Theodore "Teddy" Haddad, Jr. (Rene) of Liberty Township, OH, Elizabeth "Liz" Martin (Patrick, Sr) of Tappahannock, VA and Amanda Haddad of Savannah, GA.; her grandchildren, Theodore "Theo" Haddad III (Amanda), Ryan Martin (Bryant), Zachary Haddad (Micky), Patrick Martin, Jr., Carlie Haddad and Christian Bond; her great grandchildren, Emma Jane Haddad and Alison "Sunny" Haddad; and her brothers, William "Bill" Dueker III (Margaret), Robert "Bob" Dueker, Thomas "Tom" Dueker and Walter "Walter Wonderful" Dueker (Nancy). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the George Mason University Foundation Dr. Jane Haddad Fund for Correctional Mental Health Services, a fund that was set up in her honor with the support of her mental health colleagues when she retired in 2013.
