She was predeceased by: her husband Minister James Ladson; her parents, Charles Drayton and Rebecca Fordham; her children, Morris Lee Ladson and Markchas Ladson; and her siblings, Leroy Drayton, Charles Drayton, Anderson Drayton and Virginia Taylor.

She is survived by: her children, Maurice Ladson (Debra) and Madlyn Capers; her grandchildren, Shavonne, Johnell, Wayne, Alicia, Jaleel, Hydaya, Lawerence, Chyrese and Marquel; and her siblings, Hedy Jackson and Richardeen Scott (Pastor Nathaniel).
