She was predeceased by: her father Abilio Marques of Fremont; and her brother Robert Marques of Denver, Colorado.. She is survived by: her mother Gilberta Smith of Denver, Colorado; her husband Robert Martin of Charleston; her sisters, Diane Felker (Brent Felker) of Denver, Colorado and Debra Marques (Adam Fields) of Asheville; and her brother-in-law James Martin (Lisa) of Bethel. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank Viviant of Charleston Nursing Home and Amedysis Hospice for their care of Jean.; In recognition of Jean's lifelong devotion to her beloved canine companions, memorial contributions may be made to the Charleston Animal Society (http://www.charlestonanimalsociety.org).
