She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Morris Lilly and Ona Scearce Lilly; her husband Mack Dean Herman; her daughter Dean Marie Herman; and her sister Barbara Lilly Aycock.
She is survived by: her nieces, Ann, Emily and Louise; her son-in-law Jesse; her daughter Martha Herman Thigpen (Jesse); her grandchildren, Andrew McKenzie Thigpen (Ellie) and Anna Thigpen Ravan (Cody); and her great grandchildren, Reagan McKenzie Thigpen and Bennett Thomas Thigpen.
Memorial donations can be made in Jeanne's memory to First Baptist Church of Charleston.
