He is survived by: his wife Joan Marie Kennerty Doran of Charleston, SC; his stepson William Arthur Ray of Charleston, SC; his brother-in-law Joseph Tyson (Sally); his nephew Joe Tyson of Savannah, GA; his son Nathan Alan Doran (Kate Kendall) of Worcester, MA; his former wife Susan Arnold of Middletown, CT; his stepson James Luurtsema (Niki) of West Hartford, CT; his siblings, Cristine Starrett of East Greenwich, RI, Scott Doran (Jeanne) of Meggett, SC, Gary Doran (Janet) of Hickory, NC and Alan Doran (Sherry) of Summerville, SC; his half-brother Harry Ellingwood (Amelia) of Stanley, NC; his stepmother Joyce Doran of Newington, CT; his stepsiblings, Lynn McKinnon Nowell (Chris) of Summerville, SC, Mary Ellen McKinnon of Newington, CT, John McKinnon of New Milford, Roch McKinnon (Ann) of Summerton, SC and Fred McKinnon of Seattle, WA.; and his grandson Jameson Andrew Doran. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
