With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joanne Kassis of Charleston, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 8, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Fred A. Kassis; and her parents, Aubrey Jones and Reba Stephens Jones. She is survived by: her children, Sonja Kassis Stetzler (David), Jane Kassis Vettel (Steve) and Daniel F. Kassis; her grandchildren, Anna Kassis, Daniel Kassis, Matthew Stetzler, Michael Stetzler, Eric Vettel and Luke Vettel; and her siblings, Van Jones (Adrienne) and Martha Hudspeth (Charlie).
Memorial donations can be made in Joanne's memory to St. Joseph's Catholic Church and Charleston Southern University Nursing Scholarship Program.________________________.
