We announce the death of John Adam Zimmerman of Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on July 30, 2026, at the age of 82. John Adam will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Zimmerman and Ralph Zimmerman; and his siblings, Chuck, Nanette and Salli Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Jean Zimmerman; his daughters, Karen Oravetz (Thomas "Tom") and Jennifer Ramirez (Juan C.); and his grandsons, Shane, Sam Oravetz, Joseph and Johnny Ramirez.
