He was predeceased by: his parents, Charleston and Joseph Gregorie (Mary Elizabeth Knox). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Truesdell; his sons, Joseph Gregorie (Michelle) and John Gregorie; his grandchildren, Gabrielle Melton (Michael), Mary Gregorie (Demetrius Hines), Joseph Thomas Gregorie, Sarah Gregorie, Emma Gregorie and Abigail Gregorie; and his great grandchild Quinn Hines.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home (1620 Savannah Hwy, Charleston, SC 29407). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (5 St Teresa Dr, Charleston, SC 29407). A committal service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (604 Fort Johnson Rd, Charleston, SC 29412).
Expressions of sympathy may include flowers and/or donations in Joseph's name to the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Building Fund or the Lowcountry Firefighter Support Team, causes close to his heart.
