He is survived by: his wife Minnie Bostick Hurteau; his children, Joseph Coleman Hurteau, Jr., Kathryn Hurteau Ives (Gray) and Mary Helen Hurteau; his grandchildren, Ashely Davant Hurteau, Spencer Coleman Hurteau (Savannah Marie), Grayham Hurteau Ives, Anne Langley Ives, Coleman Briggs Delk and Samuel Hurteau Delk; his sister-in-law Sharon Hurteau; his nephew James Stanard Hurteau, II (Jayme); his great-nephew James Stannard Hurteau, III; and his great-niece Caroline Taylor Hurteau.
