Joyce will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earthalee Deas Phillips and Oscar C. Leach, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Cornelius Bernard Leach, Stacy Maurice Spruill, Krista Brianna Richardson and Gary Terrell Spruill (Amber Spruill); and her cousin Sarah Lewis. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; her beloved sisters and brothers; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
Viewing will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ollie M. Dickerson Memorial Chapel (4700 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (620 Rutledge Ave, Charleston, SC 29403). An entombment will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at the Sunset Memorial Garden (2915 Ashley Phosphate Rd, North Charleston, SC 29418).
