He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Kirkhart and Odessa Morgan Kirkhart; and his siblings, Kamille Kirkhart Hoskins Nesbit, Lantie Kirkhart, Karen Kirkhart and Elizabeth Kirkhart.
He is survived by: his children, Chip Kirkhart, Lawrence Kirkhart, Jr. and Ashley Kirkhart. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
