He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Henry Benton and Lilla Clark Benton. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ann Vought Benton; and his children, Tina Benton Knight and Leroy Benton Jr.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
