It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Tristram Wansley of Charleston, South Carolina, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hampton Pearson Wansley (Bud) and Jacqueline Smith Wansley (Jackie). He is survived by: his sister Sarah Wansley Kilpatrick (Bill) of Charleston; his nieces, Emily R. Hairfield (Benjy) of Charleston and Ashley R. Strange (Paul) of Charleston; his great-nieces, Taylor Katherine Strange and McKenna Grace Hairfield; his great-nephew Hudson Lane Strange; his aunt Johnsie Blocker Smith; his uncle Jacob Nathaniel Smith, Jr. (Peter); and his close friend Raymond Gaudreau. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
