He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Sweatman and Sophie Sweatman. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne C. Hagood of Charleston, SC; his children, Lauren Sweatman of Summerville, SC and Chase Sweatman (Brittani) of Summerville, SC; his siblings, Ruben Sweatman III (Erin) of Gilbert, SC, Mickell Sweatman of Summerville, SC, Beverly Verble (Hod) of Daniel Island, SC and Paula Rutledge of Summerville, SC; his granddaughter Morgan Sweatman of Summerville, SC; his stepgrandsons, Easton Saltarelli of Summerville, SC and Bentlee Saltarelli of Summerville, SC; his friend Barney Smalls of Summerville, SC; his siblings' children, Ruben "Ben" Sweatman IV, Hod Verble, Jr., Stephanie Sweatman Grill, Casie Sweatman Cutlip and Amra Verble Smith; and his stepson Jason Slade of Summerville, SC. He is also survived by 5 great nieces and nephews.
