She was predeceased by: her husband Clifton R. Hucks, Sr.; her parents, Herbert H. Knox and Lena Paschal Knox; and her siblings, Elizabeth McMahon, Elllie Johnson, Mary Johnson, Julia Knox, Sam Knox, Bill Knox, Jency Knox, Lester Knox, Johnny Knox and Paschal Knox.
She is survived by: her children, Clifton R. Hucks, Jr. (Nancy L. Hucks) and Jill Joyner (Curtis); her grandchildren, Ashley Willard (Joseph), Matthew Joyner and Kendall Joyner; her great grandchild Blaine Willard (Danielle); and her sister Shirley Knox.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Ocean Woods Cemetery (2408 S Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 405 King Street, Charleston, SC 29403.
