With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ann Fail Melendez of Charleston, South Carolina, born in Olar, South Carolina, who passed away on March 2, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Fail and Mary Ellen Fail; her daughter Terri Melendez; and her brother Wayne Fail. She is survived by: her husband Robert A. Melendez; her children, Lisa Roberts (Joey) and Robert "Tony" Melendez (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Miranda Roberts and Tyler Dimock; and her extended family, Joey Runey Jennifer Runey, Whitney Runey, Emily Runey, Ashley Runey, Emory Blackwell and Rocky Blackwell.
