With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Rex Batchelor of Charleston, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 13, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Leonard Batchelor; and his nephew Stephen. He is survived by : his mother Mary Dean Batchelor; his wife Monica Molloy; his daughter Sophie (Alan); his grandchildren, Hazel and Dexter; his brother Kenny (Elena); and his nieces, Amy (David), Kate (Kasim) and Jess.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Back Swamp Community Center (3008 Catherine Lake Rd, Richlands, NC 28574).
