She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Otis Bryson, Jr. and Jean Marie Essick Bryson; and her brother Charles M. Bryson. She is survived by: her husband Paul D. Schwartz; her sons, James H. Smoak, III (Ashley) and Jason R. Smoak (Kayce); her grandchildren, James Bryson Smoak, Molly Harper Smoak, Jackson Riley Smoak and Kinsley Grace "Kiki" Smoak; and her siblings, Debra B. Johnson (Kenny), Dell Marie Bryson and Robert O. Bryson, III (Sandra). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many more extended family members and friends.
